Mission
"PRESERVE, MAINTAIN, DEVELOP TRADITIONAL CRAFT VILLAGES” with the principles are preservation historical value, conservation Vietnam cultural, Vn.Design is doing our target and towards to build a Commercial and Exchange cultural village community multinational Center. Formation the area support, training, design products, close-knit households including the talents craftsmen, the young generation to the next.
We believe that when people jointly understand that trade could be a force for the positive change that they will use their purchasing power to improve the lives of people and community, create the opportunities to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
History
Vn.Design started our mission in research to expand investment and sustainable operation from 2003 in Son Dong village has a history od many centuries with traditional occupation “CARVING STATUES AND BUDDHIST WORSHIPPING OBJECTS BIGEST IN VIETNAM”
We connected the creativity from many craft villages with a desire to create new inspiration for customers from traditional handicraft products.

We understand the importance when COMMUNITY – TRADITIONAL OCCUPATION - PROFIT linked to create fairness, sustainability and healthy trade.
We seek continuous improvement products and activities derived from the trust, cooperation and support, training, applied technology, environmental standards, children labor, social responsibility... The legal origin and interest in the environmental impact from raw material supplier is complied with the stages of our business.
We always associate the United Nations definition of sustainable development "To meet the needs of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."

Regional Unit for Culture in Asia and the Pacific (UNESCO Bangkok)
- The only agency in United Nations system with the authority in the field of culture.
- Responsible for promoting innovation and protecting the world's diverse cultural heritage.
- The Award of Excellence for Handicrafts (formerly known as Seal of Excellence for Handicrafts) was established to encourage craft-workers in region to use traditional skills and materials to ensure the perpetuation of traditional knowledge and preserve cultural diversity.
- The award is reviewed against six key criteria incorporating: excellence, unique, innovation, authenticity, marketability, eco-friendliness.
- This award is an annual award organized by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Regional Unit for Culture in Asia and the Pacific, the ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA) and the Support Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailand (Public Organization) – SACICT.
Vn.Design awarded the UNESCO Seal of Excellence for Handicrafts award in Southeast Asia 2007.
Asean Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA)
- AHPADA was established and organized by the Royal Thai Government and inaugurated in Jakarta in March 1981.
- AHPADA operates as a forum for both the government and private sectors concerned to meet and complimenting each other in the promotion and development of handicrafts activities.
The SUPPORT Arts and Crafts International Centre of Thailan (Public Organization) - SACIT
- SACIT is a nonprofit-making organization requiring joint co-operation from the government sector, the private sector and the Bangsai Arts and Crafts Training Centre of Queen Sirikit of Thailand.
- Crafts Training Centre of Queen Sirikit of Thailand. SACICT aims for excellence in the management, production and marketing of Thai handicrafts and also aims to be the main key in the development of the network of co-operation in production and marketing efforts so as to propel Thai arts and crafts products towards local and international recognition.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) - WIPO is a specialized agency of the United Nations with the main objective is "to promote creative intellectual activity and facilitate transfer of technology related to intellectual property to the developing countries to speed up their goal of economic development, social and cultural”.
- The range is “promote the protection of intellectual property throughout the world”.
Vn.Design submitted documents registered trademark rights in some member countries of WIPO.
United States Patent and Trademark Office – USPTO.
USPTO is the Federal agency for granting U.S. patents and registering trademarks.
Vn.Design was granted by USPT for Vn.Design’s trademark.
The Global Competitiveness Facility for Vietnamese Enterprises – GCF.
GCF is a grants facility funded by DANIDA for 5 years (2006 to 2010) with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the Vietnamese private sector by improving enterprises’ access to information, business services and interest representation.
Vn.Design and GFC and signed a Grant Agreement in cooperation with households in Son Dong craft village providing them the latest designs, training to ensure the product quality and packaging to match the requirements of export markets.
Aid to Artisans - ATA.
- ATA is an international nonprofit organization
- ATA is a recognized leader in economic development for the craft sector. By linking artisans to new markets and buyers to culturally meaningful and innovative products.
- ATA provides needed economic opportunities to artisans to build profitable craft businesses.
Vn.Design and ATA signed a Contract in development Son Dong traditional handicrafts to US market.
Vietnam Records Books
It introduces the things, phenomenon, people… should have made the greatest records in all regions of Vietnam.
The Son Dong village was recorded as “A craft village that carve statues and Buddhist worshipping objects biggest in Vietnam that sculpt the largest quantity of statues and worshipping objects for Buddhists”
Vietnam Association of Financial Investors - VAFI.
- VAFI is a non-profit organization. Association is an organization of volunteer organizations and individuals involved in financial investments and other areas related to financial markets in Vietnam.
- Collections, solidarity, cooperation, help and protect the legitimate interests of members. VAFI is a forum to exchange information, provide services to members equitably, and promote Vietnam financial market healthy, integration with the international financial markets.
